Plot of The Book of Eli
after a disaster that has wiped out almost all life on earth clears, in the year 2044 a solitary wanderers on freeways and destroyed by cold ruins. The environment is hostile, could strike anywhere marauding gangs and choose one sip of water or a pair of shoes, who lived among hunters and the hunted the next day.
The name of the walker is Eli (Denzel Washington). Although he does not know whether there really is somewhere still hope for civilization, he is on his way west. In his luggage a mysterious book, which is also coveted by other manic and Eli protected with his life. In a ruined city, where is the law of the jungle, Eli meets the despotic Carnegie (Gary Oldman), who is his secret soon found out.
While Eli may initially the armed force of Carnegie’s minions and defend with the help of young Solara ( Mila Kunis escape). But at the next reunion of the counterparty Eli is not only deprived of his property, but also with a shot in the stomach left for dead. Carnegie seems to have reached his goal.
